The Unfortunate Five: A Pitch Bible and Concept Book

Parees Gillard is a Welsh, half-Jamaican illustrator who primarily enjoys drawing birds and other animals, both real and fantastical. She has recently discovered a love for concept art as well, particularly in the area of character design. She hopes to produce book illustration and artwork for video games in the future.

“My Graduate Portfolio project is about “The Unfortunate Five”, an unlucky Dungeons & Dragons party that face plenty of danger and adopting a large amount of pets on the way. The project itself, a pitch bible, touches on tense moments through concept art and character design of the main party, as well as the fictional creatures that they encounter.”
